AFIMAC is hiring Security Guards for varied contract assignments across British Columbia. This role requires a valid security license and readiness for temporary work at $20 per hour.

As a Security Guard with AFIMAC, you will tackle unique challenges ranging from organized protests to crisis management. Your commitment to this temporary position can span from 1 to 120 days and demands the ability to handle 12-hour shifts, including weekends. Candidates must be adept in report writing and have prior experience in de-escalating confrontational situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure security during organized protests and disruptions

• Provide support during man-made crises

• Write detailed incident reports for management

• Travel to various project locations on short notice

• Maintain 84-hour workweeks with extended hours

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid BC security guard license

• Willingness to travel frequently for projects

• Previous experience in high-pressure situations

• Strong English reading and writing skills

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
