What matters most in a role like this is your ability to interact professionally with clients, employees, and visitors while maintaining a strong sense of security awareness. You should be able to communicate confidently, remain calm under pressure, and make people feel safe and supported. As a Bank Security Guard, there is a strong focus on both customer service and security.

You will be working closely with clients and staff throughout your shift, monitoring the premises, responding to incidents, providing assistance when needed, and helping maintain a secure and welcoming banking environment.

• Hourly wage of $20 + comprehensive benefits package
• Stable full-time opportunity:
  Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist visitors and maintain a safe, welcoming environment
• Use strong communication and de-escalation skills when interacting with vulnerable or distressed individuals
• Conduct regular patrols and identify potential safety or security concerns
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when required
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports

• Authorized to work in Canada with
• Hold a valid BC Security License
• OFA 1 First Aid Certification ( an asset)
• Strong report writing and technology skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Physically able to stand for extended periods
• Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness
