Intake Specialist at CVIMS

As an Intake & Settlement Specialist, you'll conduct assessments and connect clients to essential services, ensuring they navigate their settlement journey effectively. You will act as a vital liaison between clients and community resources, advocating for their needs and promoting inclusion within Canadian society.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews and document eligibility
• Assess immediate needs, including housing and health services
• Provide orientation sessions on settlement topics
• Collaborate with external partners for wrap-around support
• Maintain detailed client records ensuring confidentiality
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Work or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in settlement services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid class 5 driver’s license required
• First Aid Level 1 certification needed
Utilize your expertise to support newcomers and foster their integration into the community through the CVIMS program.
