This position involves empowering youth and families through tailored support and resource navigation. You’ll play a crucial role in creating stability through evidence-based plans while working in a supportive, trauma-informed environment. Your experience in social services and crisis intervention will be valuable for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children and youth through individualized coaching
• Connect families to essential community resources
• Develop personalized goal-setting plans for clients
• Recognize and effectively manage crisis situations
• Partner with Integrated Child, Youth, and Family Services team
Requirements:
• Degree in Social/Human Services or equivalent experience
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle for client transportation
• Minimum of 1 year in a social services role
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent environments
Drive positive change in the lives of youth and families as a dedicated Youth Advocate at BGC.
