Position: Nanaimo Community Inclusion Support Role
Take on the role of Community Inclusion Support Worker with Bonaventure Support Services in Nanaimo, BC. Make a daily impact by supporting adults with diverse abilities from Thursday to Monday.

In this full-time position, you will empower individuals to achieve their personal goals and enhance their community involvement. Collaborate with a dedicated team to create an inclusive environment while supporting individuals in daily living skills and vocational growth. Your guidance fosters meaningful relationships and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid in personal care and daily living activities

• Encourage independence and reenacting community engagement

• Collaborate with families and various professional supports

• Follow Bonaventure's guidelines for respect and inclusivity

• Adhere to health and safety protocols diligently

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Social Services or related field

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Criminal Record Check and MCFD Screening needed

• First Aid with CPR and Food Safe Level 1 certifications

• 3 reference letters including one from a recent employer
