In partnership with the Homelessness Services Coordinator, you will facilitate connections for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Your work will include providing life skills training, advocating for client needs, and collaborating with various community services. This dynamic role requires flexibility and creativity in problem-solving to support diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for individuals living with mental health challenges
• Participate in case planning and service coordination
• Identify and promote community resources for clients
• Observe clients and manage potential emergencies
• Supervise community outings with clients for resource connections
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related program or equivalent experience
• At least two years’ relevant experience with diverse populations
• Class 5 Driver's License and a reliable vehicle
• First Aid Certification and Naloxone Training
• Excellent communication and crisis intervention skills
