Position: Supportive Housing Tenant Worker
Join Connective as a Tenant Support Worker in Nanaimo, helping residents thrive in supportive housing programs. Provide therapeutic support and ensure a safe living environment for all.

This role is vital for delivering resident programming and collaborating with kitchen staff at Cornerstone Supportive Housing and Nanaimo HEARTH. As a casual worker, you’ll assist with daily living skills, building maintenance, and janitorial duties, all while supporting residents to live independently. You're part of a dedicated team focused on program improvement and resident wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, friendly environment for residents

• Promote healthy daily living choices

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily tasks

• Document residents’ observations and concerns

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and rooms

Requirements:

• Diploma in human/social services field

• One year experience with vulnerable populations

• Crisis management experience

• Strong communication skills in English

• Criminal Records Check and First Aid required
