As part of a growing social service agency, your work will center on enhancing the daily lives of vulnerable individuals. You will be responsible for ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met while working collaboratively with various support teams. The position also entails crisis intervention and promoting positive behavior strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals with personal and health care needs
• Promote choice and life skills development
• Collaborate with MCFD, VIHA, and other agencies
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Build effective relationships with individuals and families
Requirements:
• Formal education or experience with diverse abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to handle high-stress situations
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License required
• First Aid Certification and immunization records needed
