Class 5 Driver

Position: Class 5 Driver Needed at Daniels Health
Be a key player at Daniels Health in Nanaimo as a Class 5 Driver. This full-time role involves the important transportation of healthcare materials and ensuring safety at every step.

We are looking for a reliable driver who can adeptly perform inspections, navigate local and occasional out-of-town routes, and maintain vehicle hygiene per company standards.

Your role will directly impact the safety and effectiveness of healthcare delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Load and unload materials with care to avoid damages

• Deliver and collect products in line with the route schedule

• Ensure all items are packed according to packing slips

• Follow cleaning protocols for commercial vehicles daily

Requirements:

• Class 5 license with air brakes required

• 12 months of driving experience in the last 36 months

• Updated Driver’s Abstract dated within 30 days

• Able to lift and manage weights exceeding sixty pounds

• Willing to comply with all pre-employment requirements
