Air Liquide is Hiring for a Storekeeper / Driver P&D / FPO in Nanaimo

This job will lead you to build lasting relationships with customers and collaborate on developing business markets. You will have the chance to evolve in an organization where collaboration and customer satisfaction are the core of our business. Also providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick‑up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

• Cylinders and hardgoods delivery.
• Receives and processes customer orders (phone, email, fax, etc).
• Process and confirm delivery slips.
• Assist in store with shipping, receiving, customer service and store duties as time allows/ as required.
• Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites and pick up empties then offload trucks upon return and sort the cylinders.
• Receiving, storing the cylinders in the warehouse.

• Valid class 3 license with good driving record.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry.
• Customer service experience.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience on a forklift truck.
• Forklift certification (preferred).
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of compressed gases and basic welding processes (preferred).
