Drive home delivery excellence with Sobeys’ Thrifty Foods in Nanaimo, British Columbia. As a Full-Time Delivery Driver, ensure timely goods distribution while maintaining customer satisfaction.
You will report to the Team Lead - Home Delivery and be key to delivering orders from various locations to customers' homes. This role demands promptness, friendliness, and a commitment to safety, alongside outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills. Reliability is crucial as you'll also manage payment transactions and perform daily vehicle checks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to homes and businesses
• Accept payments and balance accounts daily
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle
• Perform pre and post vehicle inspections for compliance
• Plan and coordinate deliveries efficiently
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
• Familiarity with Thrifty Foods policies
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Attention to detail in vehicle maintenance and deliveries
• Ability to handle cash and follow procedures
