Take on the responsibilities of a Linehaul Driver with Purolator in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Deliver freight and operate company vehicles safely while ensuring top-tier service.
This role requires you to drive and manage multiple types of company vehicles to pick up and deliver freight to essential customer locations. Maintain safety through regular vehicle inspections and collaborate with Dispatch to manage challenges on the road.
Your role is vital for ensuring service level agreements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Navigate to customer locations as directed
• Safely operate heavy and light company vehicles
• Load, unload, and deliver freight accurately
• Resolve issues in partnership with Dispatch
• Conduct regular inspections pre and post trips
Requirements:
• Must hold a Class 1 driver’s license with a clean history
• At least 3 years of Class 1 driving experience
• Familiarity with GPS technology is essential
• Strong English language skills required
• Open to working in varied environments including on the road and in warehouses
Drive with Purolator and ensure reliable freight delivery across Nanaimo.
