UPS is hiring part-time Package Pre-loaders at our Nanaimo facility. Work early mornings, loading and unloading packages while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.
As a part-time Pre-loader, you will work permanent hours from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include managing packages, lifting loads up to 70 lbs, and sorting shipments efficiently. This role requires teamwork and adherence to safety standards to facilitate effective package transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload and load packages from trailers and vehicles
• Lift and move packages weighing 10 to 70 lbs
• Scan and sort packages based on addresses
• Utilize routing charts and postal codes effectively
• Cooperate with team members for efficient operations
Requirements:
• Available Monday to Friday for scheduled shifts
• Ability to lift packages unassisted up to 70 lbs
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
• Familiarity with warehouse settings is a plus
