Help keep our children safe with BGC Central Vancouver Island as a Class 4 Driver in Nanaimo, BC. This role involves transporting kids and staff for school and club activities.
As a dedicated Class 4 Driver, your job goes beyond operating a vehicle. You are a key part of our community, responsible for safe transit, ensuring timely routes, and caring for our fleet while nurturing positive interactions with children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pick up and drop off children at schools and clubs
• Adhere to safety standards and road regulations
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip
• Maintain a clean and well-fueled transportation fleet
• Log daily trip details and communicate with staff
Requirements:
• Must have an Unrestricted Class 4 BC Driver’s License
• Current First Aid Certificate for safety duties
• Strong preference for experience with larger vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with children
• Commitment to safety and community engagement
