Position: BGC Class 4 Driver Role in BC
Location: Ladysmith

Drive with BGC Central Vancouver Island in Ladysmith, BC, as a Class 4 Driver. Engage warmly with children as you ensure their safe transport to schools and programs in a part-time capacity.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for driving both 15-passenger vans and 24-passenger buses on regular school routes and during exciting field trips. Building a positive rapport with children and staff while maintaining safety standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport children following designated schedules

• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips

• Ensure children are properly secured during transport

• Communicate effectively with program staff

• Support club activities as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License essential

• Clean driving record and safety mindset

• First Aid Certificate required

• Preferred familiarity with driving buses

• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with families
