Become a crucial part of the Regional District of Nanaimo as a full-time Transit Operations Supervisor in the handyDART service. This role emphasizes leadership, ensuring effective transport options for individuals requiring assistance.
You will supervise a dedicated team focused on providing reliable and safe transit services. Your day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing operations and maintaining compliance with safety and customer service standards. Work closely with community partners to deliver optimal transit solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage handyDART team ensuring quality service delivery
• Supervise day-to-day transit operations for safety compliance
• Coordinate services with community stakeholders as needed
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Three years of job related experience in transit
• Six months in a supervisory role
• Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License required
• Equivalent training and experience may qualify
Drive meaningful change in community transport services with reliable leadership and operational excellence.
