Take on a vital role as a Driver I, focusing on the safeguarding of material transport operations. Manage logistics for garbage, supplies, and biohazardous items under strict schedule compliance.
You will report to the Transport Supervisor and carry responsibility for ensuring safety in logistical practices. Operating vans and light trucks, you will handle various items, including laboratory specimens and office supplies, while working closely with team members to ensure efficiency. Your duties will significantly contribute to patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and manage transportation of materials
• Load and unload various supplies as directed
• Follow logistical and dispatch instructions precisely
• Manage biohazardous and sensitive materials safely
• Uphold adherence to quality and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 10 or equivalent training
• Hold a valid Class 5 vehicle license
• Ability to operate relevant logistical equipment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Physical readiness to complete all tasks
