Drive furniture deliveries for The Brick in Nanaimo, using customer service, vehicle inspections, and safe heavy lifting daily. This fleet role serves customers’ homes directly.
The Brick is expanding its fleet team with a Furniture and Appliance 5 Ton Delivery Driver. You will route deliveries, load products, assemble items, and document mileage, fuel costs, and problems. The position requires organized communication and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:- Route and schedule furniture and appliance deliveries
- Inspect and load products before delivery
- Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Carry merchandise into homes and assemble products
- Record mileage, fuel costs, and encountered problems
- Valid non-graduated Class 5 driver’s license
- Current driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift merchandise exceeding 50 pounds regularly
- Customer service orientation with strong communication skills
- Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts
