Forklift Operator Warehouse Associate

Join Adecco as a full-time Forklift Operator in Nanaimo, BC, to support warehouse operations. This role involves picking, packing, and operating forklifts in a hands-on environment.

As a Warehouse Associate at Adecco, you will work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Your primary responsibilities will include verifying incoming shipments, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and you'll benefit from medical and dental coverage once qualified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders for shipping efficiently

• Load and unload trucks safely and accurately

• Verify shipments against provided documentation

• Organize inventory in the designated storage areas

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred

• Valid counterbalance forklift certification required

• Basic computer skills for documentation tracking

• Ability to lift and move materials consistently

• Strong focus on safety and organization
