Position: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)/Warehouse Associate )
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) to support our client's warehouse operations in Nanaimo, BC. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and enjoys hands‑on work. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and shipment of materials while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Pay Rate:  $24.00/hour

Location:

Nanaimo, BC

Shift:  Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities   Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against documentation
Restock and organize inventory in designated storage areas
Label, tag, and stage materials for delivery or pickup
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues
Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
Support team members and other departments as needed
Qualifications and Skills   Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
Valid counterbalance forklift experience/certification is mandatory
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation tracking
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and moving materials
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
