Job Overview Adecco is hiring a full-time, reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator ) to support our client's warehouse operations in Nanaimo, BC. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and enjoys hands‑on work.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Temporary / Full-time. Paid weekly—accurate and on time. Medical and dental benefits once qualified. Free training programs available.
Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against documentation.
Restock and organize inventory in designated storage areas.
Label, tag, and stage materials for delivery or pickup.
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications Previous warehouse or material‑handling experience preferred.
Valid counterbalance forklift experience or certification is mandatory.
Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation tracking.
Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and moving materials.
