Join Slegg Building Materials as a Freight Receiver, responsible for managing all incoming shipments and maintaining inventory accuracy in a supportive workplace. Monday to Friday shifts offer a stable work environment.
In this role, you will act as an ambassador for GMS, ensuring all freight received is inspected and recorded accurately. Your focus on safety and customer service will enhance the operational efficiency of our distribution network. Relevant experience and forklift operation skills will enhance your candidacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage check-in processes for freight deliveries
• Ensure safety and efficiency during all operations
• Process inventory entries into the system
• Handle damaged product resolutions effectively
• Prepare necessary paperwork for payment processing
Requirements:
• Two years of related work experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of home improvement products
• Competence with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Capability to lift weights of up to 50lbs
