Activities Counselor (2026)
Stanmar Inc., Nantucket, MA
Full‑time, Entry level
Salary: $73,091.20–$
Responsibilities- Comfortable with giving instructions for daily events and maintaining head count and all participants in your selected group.
- Must maintain a safe environment at all times on and off property.
- A positive and cooperative attitude and pleasant disposition are critical to this position.
- Counselors are required to supervise and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, following outlined protocols for daily activities and field trips.
- Prior experience working with children.
- Excellent people skills and outgoing personality.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have a positive attitude and truly enjoy working with children.
- Successful applicant will pass pre‑employment background check.
- Must possess a genuine interest in working with children & pre‑teen ages 3‑12.
- Willingness to commit required energy, enthusiasm and cooperation in all aspects of training and hands‑on portions of the program.
