Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role requiring an active MA RN license and current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department serving a diverse island community

• Patient population includes year-round residents and seasonal visitors

• Rotating shifts, 36 hours per week

• Uses Epic for EMR documentation

• Shared housing provided at no cost to the traveler

• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

• Teamwork in a hospital environment that serves a large seasonal influx of patients

• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for the standard rate

• Parking may incur daily costs depending on location
Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications at start

• Primary source verification of license is required

• Experience with Epic preferred
