A regional conservation organization located on Nantucket Island seeks a motivated Shorebird Monitor for a full-time, temporary position from late March to mid-August. Responsibilities include monitoring and protecting rare beach-nesting shorebirds, conducting nest searches, and engaging with beach visitors regarding shorebird ecology. Applicants should have a degree in Ecology or a related field, with preference given to those with wildlife monitoring experience.
The wage is $22 per hour, and housing is provided.
