Server Assistant (Full Time Seasonal 2026)
The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the servers in the dining room by setting and resetting tables, refreshing water, carrying trays of food into the dining room, clearing tables, and providing the highest levels of service and professionalism. Performing all duties and adhering to the Food & Beverage Service Standards.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including foods, beverages, service techniques, and guest interaction.
- Be familiar with all the resort’s services/features and local attractions to assist the guest.
- Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness and maintains positive guest relations at all times.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, acknowledge all guests; resolve complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
- Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
- Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner.
- Remove soiled wares from tables and transport to designated area.
- Clean and reset table as soon as guest departs.
- Develops relationships with guests.
- Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintains professional relationships with all co‑workers.
- Answers outlet phone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
- Follows checklists and standard operating procedures.
- Prepares work area for opening, mid‑shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
- Completes side work during non‑busy hours.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas and proper food handling.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Maintains complete knowledge of all food & beverage menu items, including liquor brands, beers, and non‑alcoholic selections available.
- Complies with all department policies, service procedures, and standards.
- Strictly abides by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated guests, and drunk driving.
- Regular attendance in conformance with hotel & resort standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Continually increases knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
- Performs related tasks and functions as requested by manager.
- May be required to perform a combination of additional supportive functions, with the percentage of time determined by manager based on hotel requirements.
- At least 18 years old.
- Excellent people skills and outgoing personality.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
- Must be a service‑minded individual with a positive attitude who truly enjoys helping others.
- Successful applicant will pass a pre‑employment background check.
