• Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, and serve food to guests according to resort specifications, courteously and efficiently.
• Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the restaurant area and equipment, providing the highest levels of service and professionalism.
• Perform all duties and adhere to the Food & Beverage Service Standards.
• Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including foods, beverages, service techniques, and guest interaction.
• Be familiar with all resort services/features and local attractions to assist guests.
• Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness and maintain positive relations at all times.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge guests; resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Take guest food & beverage orders using suggestive upselling techniques.
• Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and facilities accurately and friendly.
• Provide the highest level of service in accordance with standards.
• Identify ready food orders and deliver items to tables promptly.
• Remove soiled wares from tables and transport to designated area.
• Present guests' checks and process payments. Adhere to cash handling and credit policies. Balance cash receipts.
• Clean and reset tables immediately after guests depart.
• Develop relationships with guests.
• Communicate with food & beverage staff to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain professional relationships with co‑workers.
• Answer outlet phone with correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
• Follow checklists and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare work area for opening, mid‑shift or closing per company standards.
• Complete side work during non‑busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas and proper food handling.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, including liquor brands, beers, and non‑alcoholic selections.
• Adhere to all department policies/service procedures and standards.
• Serve alcoholic beverages appropriately, consistent with company standards.
• Strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated guests and drunk driving.
• Take steps to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking, e.g., persuading customers to stop drinking or arranging transportation for intoxicated patrons.
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards established by the hotel & resort.
• Continuously increase knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
• Perform related tasks and functions as requested by the manager.

• Minimum of three (3) months of experience at a high‑end resort, hotel, or private club.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Must be able to work a schedule that includes holidays, weekends, and varied shift times.
• Service‑oriented with a positive attitude who enjoys helping others.
• Computer literate.
• Successful applicants will pass a pre‑employment background check.

The position may be required to perform a combination of additional supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
