Sports and Wellness Coordinator Terms of Employment:
Seasonal, full- and part-time positions from June 2026 to August 2026. Pay ranges from $20 to $27 per hour, based on experience.
Job Summary:
Coaches will supervise, coach, and engage children in the Nantucket Community School Sports and Wellness department during the 2026 summer months. All sports will be based out of the Nantucket Public School campuses, and coaches will work under the direct supervision of the Sports and Wellness Coordinator. Needed Positions:
Gymnastics, dance, basketball, flag football, cheerleading, baseball, swimming, and tennis.
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older for assistant positions, and 18 years or older for lead positions.
- Experience in related fields (sports, coaching, childcare, camp counselor) is preferred.
- Ability to converse with caregivers pleasantly and effectively.
- Previous working or volunteer experience with children.
- Certification in CPR/first aid, or willingness to be certified. Certification is required by June 30, 2025.
