Audit Senior Manager

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious individual with either a strong audit background or wider audit and accounts experience who is looking for a clear and accelerated path towards Responsible Individual (RI) status and ultimately Partnership.

A growing and ambitious independent accountancy practice in Cheshire is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its leadership team.

• Managing a portfolio of audit and audit/accounts clients across a range of sectors.
• Leading audits from planning through to completion.
• Reviewing statutory accounts, audit files, and associated client work.
• Building strong and lasting client relationships.
• Providing practical, commercial advice to owner-managed businesses.
• Managing, coaching, and developing junior team members.
• Supporting business development initiatives and identifying growth opportunities.
• Contributing to strategic decision-making within the firm.

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Have substantial experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Have either:
• A predominantly audit background; or
• Experience across both audit and accounts.
• Possess strong technical and client-facing skills.
• Have experience managing teams and reviewing work.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and leadership potential.
• Be motivated by the opportunity to progress to RI and Partnership level.
• Able to work from the firms Nantwich office.
