Reaseheath College and University Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and engaging HE Student Recruitment & Outreach Officer to help us grow our undergraduate community.

This is not a desk-based recruitment role. You will be out meeting prospective students, talking to parents, teachers and careers advisers, attending and hosting events, visiting schools and colleges, and bringing our distinctive university-level offer to life.

Our students can study subjects they are genuinely passionate about – from Zoology, Animal Science and Zoo Management to Equine Science, Canine Behaviour, Veterinary Nursing, Conservation & Wildlife, Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Business and Landscape Architecture.

With access to a specialist campus, industry-standard facilities and a growing portfolio of higher education programmes, there is a great story to tell. We need someone who is excited to tell it.

• Building strong, lasting relationships with schools, sixth forms, colleges, teachers, careers advisers and other key partners.
• Representing University Centre Reaseheath at UCAS recruitment fairs, careers events and outreach activities locally and regionally.
• Designing and delivering engaging presentations, workshops, campus visits and recruitment events that make prospective students want to find out more.
• Working with our academic teams to showcase our courses, specialist facilities, industry links and career opportunities.
• Engaging our own College students and helping them see the opportunities available to progress into higher education at Reaseheath.
• Supporting applicants throughout their journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment, including targeted keep-warm and conversion activity.
• Developing new outreach opportunities and feeder relationships that support growth across our HE portfolio.
• Using recruitment and event data to understand what works and help us continually improve our activity.
• Supporting our commitment to widening participation and ensuring higher education opportunities are accessible to students from a wide range of backgrounds.
• There will be regular travel and attendance at events, including some weekends.
