Permanent contract.

Hours:

30 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday–Sunday, 08:00–15:30. You may be required to work Sundays when requested due to operational demand.

Responsibilities

Deliver letters and parcels to customers as part of a team that serves the local community. Work outdoors in all weather, walking for long periods where required, and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Represent Royal Mail with a friendly, helpful tone and provide good customer service in every interaction.

About you
  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
  • Organised, punctual and ready to deliver excellent customer service
  • People-person and a friendly face in the community
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

  • A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
  • Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of 1.25x for hours over 40 per week

Note:

Roles offering between 35–40 hours per week are listed as full-time for candidate search purposes. Roles under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
