As a 4 on / 4 off Night Dairy Operative
, you will play a key role in delivering the daily manufacturing plan throughout the night while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and Health & Safety.

You will ensure all company procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements are followed accurately and consistently, supporting a safe, efficient, and high-performing production environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, Technical standards, and Health & Safety requirements

Supporting delivery of departmental KPIs including plan attainment, yield, waste reduction, GMP, and microbiological standards

Completing and maintaining accurate daily documentation, including quality, training, and H&S records

Supporting waste reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Driving Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and demonstrating "What Good Looks Like"

Maintaining audit readiness across all areas of the department

Building strong, positive working relationships across your team and wider departments

Working effectively and safely during night-time production operations, maintaining high standards throughout the shift

Basic food hygiene knowledge/experience

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Understanding of HACCP principles

Previous dairy or cheese manufacturing experience

Further HACCP knowledge or qualifications

Experience working within a night shift or manufacturing environment

You will be methodical, detail-focused, and comfortable working within structured processes. A strong team ethic, clear communication skills, and a proactive attitude are essential. You will also be comfortable working night shifts and maintaining high standards throughout a 12-hour shift.
