Job Title:

Construction Office Coordinator

Join us to apply for the Construction Office Coordinator role at Babcock & Wilcox.

This position involves organizing and coordinating administrative duties and office procedures for Babcock & Wilcox Construction Company. The successful candidate will support the Construction Operations team and project sites, with travel required to various locations both in and out of state. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a solid understanding of construction business office practices.

Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining field purchasing files
  • Managing labor brass alley
  • Documenting late arrivals or early quits for payroll
  • Facilitating onboarding procedures for new craft hires
  • Verifying EDS rates align with union agreements
  • Assisting project leadership and accountants with financial analyses, forecasting, and billing
  • Consulting with the project team on areas of concern
  • Safeguarding company property and resources, ensuring policy compliance at the job site
  • Loading data into payroll systems and applying craft labor agreements for wages and fringe rates
  • Issuing field checks for procurement and expenses
  • Coding and submitting field invoices for approval
  • Preparing and obtaining authorizations for customer billing
  • Adhering to procedures at all job sites
  • Participating in interviews and training for new hires
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Self-driven attitude
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
