Internal Medicine Physician

Position:
Internist with Specialization in Gastroenterology (Permanent Placement)

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology specialist to join our team in a permanent capacity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to comprehensive patient care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of gastrointestinal disorders, including conditions related to the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Conduct outpatient clinics, perform endoscopic procedures, and manage inpatient care as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Ensure adherence to current clinical guidelines and maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in on-call rotations, which require availability for 7-10 days per month to provide continuous patient coverage.
• Document patient encounters accurately and comprehensively, maintaining up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of California.
• Proven experience in managing a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
