Candidates who receive an offer of employment will be hired contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the following:

Testers may be assigned to any school site and grade level based on need. Note that employment as a casual hourly ELPAC tester is not a guarantee of work or minimum hours. Testers will be assigned work and to school sites throughout the year based on need and in coordination with the supervisor.

The ELPAC Tester performs essential duties related to the administration of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) to students across NVUSD schools. This role involves the initial assessments of students who are identified as potential multilingual learners at the beginning of each school year and for the annual summative assessment of multilingual students in the Spring of each year beginning in February.

The ELPAC includes testing domains that are administered in groups as well as one on one. District ELPAC testers will primarily be responsible for completing one on one assessments. Testers may be assigned to any school site and grade level based on need.
