Our client is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join their team in Napa, CA. This Manager of FP&A will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial planning and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Tasks,
Duties & Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business goalsDevelop and maintain financial models to analyze revenue, costs, profitability, and trendsProvide insightful financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, product launches, and pricing strategiesPartner with sales, operations, and marketing teams to evaluate financial performance and identify growth opportunitiesPrepare and present monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs)Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis, scenario planning, and investment decision-makingImprove and streamline financial processes and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracyStay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the business.Support the marketing team with analytical support to evaluate campaign performance, ROI, and customer insightsRequirements
Knowledge of Quick Books and experience using it for financial reporting and analysisBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role, preferably in the wine, beverage, or consumer goods industry.Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis tools; experience with ERP and BI systems a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.DeWinter Group and Maris Consulting is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
