We seek experienced Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers/Project Engineers to join our team, committed to long-term growth and leadership in luxury residential construction in the North Bay area. These are full-time, permanent positions based on-site and at our Napa office.
Scope and Responsibilities - Project ManagerThe Project Manager will oversee multiple large residential projects from start to finish, including boutique wineries and restaurants.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with site superintendents to coordinate project execution.
- Manage bid processes, review construction documents, and perform material take-offs.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and design professionals.
- Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and change orders.
- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Oversee project closeout, permits, and final documentation.
- 7-10 years of construction experience, with at least 3 in project management.
- Experience with high-end residential, commercial, or industrial projects, ideally over $5 million.
- Strong estimating, blueprint reading, and project management software skills.
- Business acumen and understanding of construction contracts.
Supports project management through documentation, scheduling, and procurement. Responsibilities include RFIs, meetings, maintaining files, assisting with estimates, and procurement. Requires:
- Degree in construction management or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to read plans, excellent communication.
- CA driver’s license and willingness to travel;
Spanish is a plus.
- Accountability, organization, teamwork, customer service orientation, positive attitude, communication, professionalism, self-motivation, flexibility, and ability to pass background checks.
A related degree is a plus but not required.
