Job Description

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Field Supervisor (FS) to support operations for remotely managed accounts by performing on-site supervision of Security Professionals (SPs) and ensuring site coverage at all times. FSs work closely with Operations Managers on a day-to-day basis to supervise remote service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Perform day/night site visits to inspect & supervise SPs in field.
  • Address escalation of after hours & cold start calls to ensure sufficient coverage at customer sites.
  • Cooperate with Operations Managers to coach, counsel, discipline, train, and manage relationships with SPs.
  • Support operations for remotely managed accounts by performing on-site supervision of Security Professionals and ensuring site coverage at all times.
  • Visit assigned post locations on a regular basis to monitor performance, address daily operations issues, communicate policy changes or company information, adjust staffing schedules as needed, and perform post inspections to ensure professional image and quality standards.
  • Conduct on-the-job training in coordination with Post Commander of new employees or post order changes.
  • Respond to call-offs during FS’s shift, identify replacements, and assist Scheduler with scheduling.
  • Identify personnel problems and forward issues to Operations Manager and/or Corporate HR Director, and assist with investigations as directed.
  • Execute counseling or disciplinary actions only under direction of Branch or Corporate HR management.
  • Distribute information to posts per Branch or Corporate office directives.
  • Respond to client or site emergencies, ensuring appropriate communication to Operations and/or Branch Manager.
  • Identify available qualified personnel to fill abandoned or open post; may stand post as needed.
  • Maintain all current BSIS licenses and maintain working knowledge of all posts within regional area of responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional-level experience in the security industry.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience and clean driving record.
  • Energetic, focused personality with initiative and ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality; able to work independently and follow instructions consistently.
  • Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws.
  • Ability to write effective concise reports with legible handwriting.
  • Professional, articulate, with good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and be a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College education or business classes.
  • Law enforcement and/or military experience.
  • Experience in scheduling, operations or other security functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
