American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN with CA licensure and 2+ years of ED experience for a 13-week assignment at an acute care hospital.

• Work in the Emergency Dept of a 200-bed acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Variable shift start times including night shift, 12-hour shifts with 1500 or 1900 start
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities required
• No floating required between units
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Epic EMR experience required
• Pending license not accepted

• Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED setting
• Scrub color requirement: solid royal blue
• Free parking available onsite
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates accepted
• Minimal RTO accommodated at time of consideration
