Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring a CA RN license and 2+ years of ER experience.

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a 200-bed acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Variable shift start times including 1500 or 1900 for 12-hour night shifts
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required between like units
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Provide emergency care to a variety of patient presentations
• Scrub color requirement:
  Solid Royal Blue for RNs

• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
• Minimal to no RTO preferred for this role
