Director of Sales and Hospitality at Crocker & Starr Wines

Crocker & Starr Winery

Founded in 1997, Crocker & Starr Winery has grown from a visionary partnership into a thriving, values-driven team with more than 30 years of history in crafting exceptional wines and memorable experiences. What began with founders Pam Starr and Charlie Crocker evolved into a modern estate rooted in authenticity, sustainability, innovation, and genuine connection.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Hospitality & Sales Associate who’s passionate about creating meaningful, memorable guest experiences at our Napa Valley estate. This role is all about connection—welcoming guests, sharing our story, and building relationships that inspire long‑term loyalty. You’ll play a key part in driving direct‑to‑consumer sales, wine club growth, and the overall guest journey.

If you’re a positive, motivated team player who loves people, great wine, and a collaborative work environment, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You Will Do
  • Host curated tours, tastings, and experiences for both consumers and trade—on‑site and virtually.
  • Support planning and execution of on‑site and off‑site winery events.
  • Drive DTC sales and wine club sign‑ups through in‑person interactions, email, phone outreach, and events.
  • Assist with fulfillment and shipping for all DTC orders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitality partners including drivers, concierges, destination teams, and referral networks.
  • Support cross‑functional winery projects, from hospitality tasks to administrative work.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, solutions‑focused culture.
Who You Are
  • An exceptional communicator with a guest‑first mindset.
  • A team player who’s energized by collaboration and connection.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and adaptable—you shift priorities with ease.
  • Passionate about continuing wine education. (CS or WSET certification a plus not required)
  • Detail‑oriented with strong time‑management skills.
  • Experienced with Commerce 7, Ship Compliant, and Tock (a plus, not required).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
What You Bring
  • 2–5 years of experience in hospitality, sales, or a related guest‑service role.
  • Event experience is a bonus.
Physical & Additional Requirements
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability on weekends, weekdays, holidays and occasional evenings.
  • Competitive salary based on experience 80k - 90k+ (includes base + commissions).
  • Health (medical & vision) benefits, 401(k), paid vacation, and paid holidays.
