Senior Employment Services Worker
Self Sufficiency in Health and Human Services is looking for a Senior Employment Services Worker to work with a diverse population and empower individuals to achieve career success. In this role, the incumbent will play a crucial part in assisting individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve self-sufficiency through employment and training opportunities.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive case management, conduct assessments, develop individualized employment plans, and connect clients with community resources.
- Engage in employer outreach to secure employment opportunities for participants.
- Perform lead work such as providing training to the unit, case reviews, and interpreting policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource for staff, answering programmatic questions.
- Option I:
At least 2 years experience providing employment counseling or social work services and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, counseling or a related behavioral science field. - Option II:
At least 3 years experience providing employment counseling or social work services and completion of 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) at an accredited college, including at least 18 semester (or 24 quarter) units in sociology, psychology, counseling, social work or related fields. - Valid California driver’s license.
- Spanish ability preferred but not required.
