• As the Senior Block Advisors Accounting Specialist, provide bookkeeping and payroll services to Block Advisors small business clients, including onboarding, accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, financial statement generation, sales tax filing, bank reconciliation, and other miscellaneous bookkeeping and payroll services as needed.
• Partner with Tax Advisors to deploy an effective two-way referral method to assist in the overall development of the business services client base serviced by Block Advisors.
• Process various forms of financial information into accounting or other financial systems; comply with relevant reporting requirements.
• Compile monthly and quarterly reports as needed.
• Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts (verbal and written).
• Assist in client service coverage to ensure service delivery.
• Provide relevant bookkeeping and payroll information to Tax Advisors to complete accurate tax returns.
• Analyze financial statements to assess client business trends and results (income statement, balance sheet, statement of owner’s equity, statement of cash flows).
• Prepare and facilitate client payroll processing, calculate and prepare tax payments, generate 1099 and W-2 documents for clients.
• Assist in generating Block Advisor growth opportunities and increase retention through referrals and partnerships.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience:
  
  3 years minimum related work experience.
