Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Naperville, IL (100% in Office)
Pay Range: $26/hr - $36/hr
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)
Role Overview: The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and work alongside a small team of accounting clerks. Main responsibilities include reconciling accounts, maintaining fixed assets, and performing month-end close.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close, including journal entries, account analysis, and financial statements creation
- Maintain fixed assets sub-ledger
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
- Analyze monthly financials
- Assist with external audit analysis
- Audit accounts payable invoices
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Intermediate Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing industry required
