CCG has a Commercial Title and Lien Specialist position available in its Naperville, IL office. The position will entail processing motor vehicle titles in all 50 state jurisdictions, accurately and within company timelines and for providing excellent service to inside staff, sales representatives and customers.
Commercial Credit Group Inc (CCG) is an independent national commercial equipment finance and leasing company focused on purchase money and refinance transactions in the construction, fleet transportation, waste/environmental and machine tool industries. - Accurately record incoming titles and documents daily per established procedures.
- Review documents for compliance with state/DMV regulations, verifying all forms are complete, signed, and notarized as required.
- Prepare necessary documentation for title or registration processing, including use of Power of Attorney.
- Troubleshoot issues related to titles, odometer disclosures, and POAs.
- Professionally interact with state/county offices such as DMV/BMV/DOL/DOJ/DOR, tag agents, lenders, dealers, and vehicle owners to obtain accurate documentation.
- Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries, documenting all resolutions in the Title Exception Report.
- Scan and track all incoming and outgoing work using internal systems.
- Compose clear and grammatically correct emails and routine reports.
- Process and maintain title corrections efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Manage high-volume workloads while adhering to Lien Department policies and management directives.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace to support department goals.
- Support management with special projects and additional tasks such as UCC3 Partial Releases.
- 1 year of previous DMV title experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong fact-based decision-making while following established company procedures.
- Detail-oriented, reliable team player with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with change and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Able to work independently with initiative and self-direction.
- Effective collaboration and communication across all organizational levels.
- Must be a Public Notary or willing to become one.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and align daily activities with department goals.
