As a Kinectrics engineer, your work will support safe and sustainable zero-emission energy sources, including traditional nuclear and emerging technologies.
About The Job- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on client projects involving modifications to power generation facilities and electrical systems.
- Design, prepare, and integrate major electrical power equipment.
- Conduct engineering calculations and develop electrical control circuit designs.
- Perform tests and research technical problems using various sources of information.
- Design or modify components based on specifications and instructions.
- Evaluate materials supplied and work completed by contractors, providing recommendations.
- Support engineering teams on diverse client projects.
- Occasional travel for design reviews, construction coordination, and site verifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- 3 to 7 years of relevant practical experience.
- Prior nuclear experience is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
