Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Hydrogeology, Geology, or related from an accredited university.
  • 5-10+ years of Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, or related environmental consulting experience.
  • Strong background/experience with environmental due diligence – Phase I & Phase II ESAs
  • Direct experience with Illinois LUST Investigation and Remediation
  • Ability to effectively manage and coordinate staff and corporate leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.
Preferred
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current with 8-hour refresher courses.
  • Familiarity with the Illinois EPA Site Remediation Program.
Job Description

The successful candidate will lead/work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing due diligence and UST services. Expectations include:

  • Managing and conducting Phase I & Phase II ESAs to ASTM or higher standards.
  • Interpretation of analytical data using spreadsheets and databases.
  • An in-depth understanding of Illinois UST/LUST requirements.
  • Calculation of risk-based remediation objectives.
  • Demonstrating full knowledge of each project’s status and goals.
  • Performing tasks across multiple disciplines to bring about successful project completion.
  • Trained with the goal of advancing into a Group Leader role, with future responsibilities including team management and overseeing office operations.
  • Providing quality environmental services.
  • Responding to customers in a timely manner.
