The Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company Global Industrial Engineering Team has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager
. You will be responsible for independently performing project management functions and will direct, coordinate, and manage design, fabrication and commissioning of food & beverage and/or water pre-treatment systems, chemical feed, control, and instrumentation packages.
- Schedule project work, milestones, and commissioning.
- Prepare, distribute, and gain approval on project approval documentation.
- Complete the detailed discovery process and assess the customer’s cleaning and sanitation processes based upon input from the customer and our field and corporate account teams.
- Make process and equipment recommendations based upon the discovery process, your assessment, and desired customer outcomes.
- Sustain a sense of urgency around project critical paths and issues.
- Provide technical guidance to corporate and account sales teams as required to establish or strengthen the customer relationship, sale our proposed solution, and provide differentiated value.
- Motivate project teams and inspire a sense of teamwork, ownership, and urgency.
- Display strong leadership.
- Interface with customer for required change orders to negate scope creep.
- Trouble‑shoot customer problems and develop solutions.
- Identify, monitor, and proactively manage risk.
- Develop procurement requirements and plans for coordination with the internal engineering team.
- Always conduct yourself and communicate in a professional manner.
- Interface with multi-level plant and management positions to influence decisions.
- Align project execution with the strategy, mission, culture, and ethics of Ecolab.
- Meetings with customers in corporate and plant locations.
- Customer training at Ecolab facilities.
- Contribute to internal process improvements.
- Participate in Ecolab safety and HR initiatives with 100% compliance.

- Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
- Up to 25% travel.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 years of Food and Beverage Experience, Equipment Design and Procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Water treatment experience.
The pay range for this position is $104,500-$156,700. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
