Hours:
Varied;
Monday-Friday shifts vary from 6:45am-8:00pm. Rotating weekend coverage every 6th weekend Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm. Holidays and travel as needed.

Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Radiologist, by performing the following duties.
- Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.
- Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
- Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
- Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
- Obtain patient’s pertinent history.
- Maintains crash cart.
- Maintain and stock inventory.
- Maintain OSHA regulations.
- Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.
- Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.
- Report to lead technologist for work assignments.
- Will assist with film quality control. Required to work evening and holidays with responsibility for the operation of the department.
- Assists and relieve manager expediting the patient work flow through the department.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.
- CPR certification
- 6 months - 2 years related experience
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $28.84-$43.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
