As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.
Position Details- Location:
Plainfield, Naperville, and Frankfort clinic locations. - Schedule:
Full-time, hours vary between 7:00 am–5:30 pm Mon‑Fri. - Compensation: $40–$47 /hour based on experience and qualifications.
- Perform ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment planning.
- Assist the physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient.
- Set up and clean‑up procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
- Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by the physician.
- Adhere to standard time allotments to maintain efficient patient flow.
- Coordinate with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review the schedule and ensure availability of technicians.
- Develop and maintain quality of work by continuing education and interaction with other technicians.
- Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
- Vascular registry certification (RVT, RVS, RPhS) required within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
